Already during commissioning a so-called wizard supports the setup activities so that a complete configuration is guaranteed. The intuitive 4-button operation assists users with help texts and information dialogues. With just a few clicks, users can have rapid access to device parameters directly on the high-resolution, illuminated graphic display - optionally available in various languages.
Individually configurable displays enable users to select which and how many subordinate variables are displayed. All parameterisation data can be copied from the devices into the configuration memory in the removable display module. The data is permanently stored there and parameters can be transferred simply and quickly to other devices.
All devices of the PASCAL Ci4 series come with a wide range of functionalities for parameterisation, simulation and diagnosis: This enhances the convenience of the user because they contribute to an improved operating safety and prevent user errors. Very useful is also that the complete display and control unit of the pressure transmitters can be remotely placed up to 10 metres away from the measuring point in a special housing.
The explosion protection is issued in compliance with the ATEX standard, obligatory in Europe, and the IECEx standard used internationally. The SIL2-compliant design of the transmitters and their software also supports the suitability of PASCAL Ci4 devices for use in safety-critical environments. The Ci4 series is approved according to NAMUR NE 95 and the products can be integrated into DTM/FDT-based systems, such as PactWare or FieldCare.
Furthermore the devices can be equipped with the new and innovative ATC technology - for the reduction of the temperature error of pressure measurement with diaphragm seals. The transmitters of the PASCAL Ci4 series are suitable in various designs for different application areas – from the general process industry to the hygienic requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industry. The wide range of different designs and process connections ensure that the transmitter can be adapted individually.
